What is Ultrasound Cavitation?

Ultrasound Lipo is a new, technology for breakdown/removal of the fat deposits.  This procedure does not involve invasive surgery- there is no need for anesthetics, nor is there any down-time.  This unique Cavitation technology allows non-invasive removal of stubborn fat deposits that never seem to disappear no matter what your diet, or no matter how hard you exercise.  The most problematic body areas include: abdomen, flanks (love handles), inner thighs, buttocks, inner knees, and upper arm.

Cavitation is based on low frequency ultrasound.  The ultrasound field creates the bubbles in the liquid, which gradually grow, and are eliminated when they have reached a certain size.  The energy in the form of heat and pressure is released.  As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of cavitation easily breaks them, while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.

The duration of the treatment session can vary from 20 minutes to 40 minutes depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer.  Three to 6 sessions at 2- week intervals are recommended in order to achieve a notable result, but further treatments may be needed to attain your desired silhouette.

This treatment yields immediate and long-lasting results.  Most clients experience 2 to 6 cm of circumference reduction after a single session which increases after each visit.  Results may vary with different tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medications , and changes in hormones.  Proper diet and increased physical activity will certainly improve and help to maintain results.

Those who are not candidates include persons with a pacemaker, hearing aids, gallbladder disease, and pregnant patients.

Hi Alicia thanks for your inquiries. We look forward to working with you at Lose It Right. The results of Ultrasonic Cavitation are very long lasting! We are essentially breaking down fat deposits with this technology. People not appropriate for this procedure include those who are pregnant, or breast feeding, those with pacemakers, or on blood thinners to name some. I will go into greater detail upon our meeting. Sincerely, Dr. Candace
